A round table discussion on Assessment and development trends of the timber flow control system in Ukraine was held in June 24, 2014 in the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv. This activity is implemented by WWF-DCP Ukraine in the framework of EU funded FLEG II (ENPI East) Programme. The round table participants were forest sector stakeholders of Ukraine.

On the 25th of June 2014, the final event of the third competition for journalists from all types of media, "Law enforcement and governance in the forest sector of Ukraine", took place in the World Bank office in Kyiv. The first place was won by Olena Sereda, business journalist for the newspaper "Business", with the article "Lavka brevnostei" (“The wooden curiosity shop”).

June 12, at the World Bank office in Kiev, the FLEG II Program will host a round table discussion on the issue of combating corruption in the forest sector in Ukraine.

The answer to this question was pursued by the attendees of the roundtable discussion held April 29, 2014 at the World Bank Country Office in Kyiv.

Kyiv, April 25 - It is well-known that the forestry sector’s input into a country’s economy is determined by the degree to which its forestry industry is developed. A round table meeting, which will be held on April 29, 2014 in the Kyiv World Bank Country Office, will be devoted to the analysis of the current state, dynamics and problems of the wood processing industry in Ukraine.

Kyiv, April 17, 2014 - Staff from the central administrative office of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine and forest practitioners, experts, NGO representatives and journalists gathered for a round table discussion in the World Bank Kyiv office. The subject of the discussion was legal regulation of logging in Ukraine.

Central staff of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine and practices, foresters, representatives, experts, NGOs, and journalists will gather April 16 at a round table in the Kiev office of the World Bank (WB).

On November 12, 2013 the first meeting of the National Advisory Committee Program (NPAC) took place in Kyiv. The NPAC functions in the framework of the second phase of the EU financed programme ENPI/East-2 FLEG II to develop a strategic vision on the forest sector of Ukraine and work on proposals for forest law enforcement.

November 12, 2013 Kiev will see the first meeting of the National Advisory Committee Program (NPAC), for the second phase ENPI/East-2 FLEG II («European Neighborhood and Partnership instrument East countries Forest Law Enforcement and Governance II Program»).
