Green Armenia is prepared and published with the assistance of the European Union in the frames of ENPI-FLEG II program. The publication is dedicated to the plants, the inhabitants of forests and related plant communities of Armenia. 

Republic of Armenia is a small country located in the south of the Caucasus isthmus between the Black and Caspian seas in the north-eastern part of the Armenian plateau. Despite insufficient protection of the country's flora, the Armenian flora continues to delight anyone who meets its beauty in the woods, meadows, semi-deserts and other plant communities, and botanists almost every year describe new species.
