As Forestry of Belarus have met new demands to improve forest management up to the standards of the leading countries was organized the study tour for belarusian forestry experts in the framework of "European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) East Countries Forest Law Enforcement and Governance (FLEG) II Program". In one of the most exemplary Finnish tree nursery "Suonenjoki" specialists from Brest, Grodno, Mogilev regions could comprehend the basic features of Finish Forestry and best practices of cultivation of planting material with closed root system. Study-tour participants have already begun to analyze technologies of creation for forest seed orchards and practices of reforestation with the planting material with closed root system to adapt it to the climate conditions of the Republic of Belarus for the intensive forestry introduction in the country, and, therefore, for the further development of its economics.
