The teacher edition reveals the essence of such a negative concept and process that occurs more and more frequently for the last years as illegal cuttings, their social and economic origins and background, consequences resulted in immense economic and irreparable ecological damage. The book gives a review of the existing forest law with its advantages and drawbacks.
Diagrams help to visually perceive and analyze the situation of illegal cuttings, quantity and quality indexes in dynamics in Far Eastern Federal District for the last years. The teacher edition allows finding out regularities, to predict the situation in the long-term perspective, to make conclusions in relation to the quality of investigation as well as to the control of ecological crimes investigation.
Investigation methods of such crimes with examples and coloured illustrations can be used by practitioners as a guide book in the course of detection, documentation and investigation of criminal cases concerning illegal cuttings.
The edition is oriented primarily on officers of law-enforcement and regulatory authorities who are more or less involved in detection and investigation of ecological crimes, and on individuals supervising investigation of such cases. The book can be useful for both students and professors of law and ecology universities as well as for ecological experts.
The edition is made by a practicing lawyer who worked in the public prosecution office of Primorski Krai for a long time and as interregional environment-oriented prosecutor of Primorski Krai for more than seven years.
