“Protect the Forest” – a video for Moldovan TV

"Protect the Forest" video highlights the point that forests exist in harmony with their surrounding environment and their protection becomes a crucial issue. A 60-second video was created as a result of cooperation between the ENPI-FLEG Program office in Moldova (IUCN, WB), the Moldovan Forest Research and Management Institute and the Agency "Moldsilva". 

The author of this film is Mr. Vasile Ernu, well-known Moldovan eco-journalist and environmental documentary film director, member of the non-governmental organization "Ecological Movement of Moldova".

The Republic of Moldova is a country with poor forest resources that are exposed to various risks such as desertification, soil degradation, water shortages, etc. Thus, existing forests are extremely important for local communities and for maintaining an ecological equilibrium. The said video communicates this important message to a wide range of stakeholders. 

Under an official request of the Agency "Moldsilva" addressed to a range of media institutions, this video-spot will be shown on local TV companies and posted on the websites of local eco-NGOs.
