
How can we realize the Ukrainian forestry sector potential?
Kyiv, April 25 - It is well-known that the forestry sector’s input into a country’s economy is determined by the degree to which its forestry industry is developed. A round table meeting, which will be held on April 29, 2014 in the Kyiv World Bank Country Office, will be devoted to the analysis of the current state, dynamics and problems of the wood processing industry in Ukraine.

FLEG II Program continues expansion of young foresters’ groups in the country
In order to foster youth participation in forest rehabilitation and forest protection activities, a number of meetings with schoolchildren are to be carried out in Azerbaijani forest regions. One of them will be held in the Ismailli region, on April 22 2014. The main organizer of the event is the Republican Center for Ecological Education and Practice under the Ministry of Education (MoE) with the support of the EU funded FLEG II Program in Azerbaijan.
