The primary objective of this meeting is to adopt the draft work programme for the second phase of the H2020 Initiative (period 2015-2020), as requested by UfM Environment Ministers in the Athens Declaration. This meeting will be take place in a joint session with the MEDPOL focal points.

The draft Horizon 2020 work programme has been prepared following a participatory approach whereby the specific chapters for each component have been discussed and agreed within the relevant H2020 sub-groups. The draft that will be presented for discussion and adoption by the Steering Group therefore represents the outcomes of the discussions held within each of these sub-groups.
