ADA-funded FLEG II Program has completed in December 2017. Learn more about the Program and its results, read the final reports, or contact us.
The main objective of the event is to demonstrate the EU-funded programs to a wider public, share experience through information and visibility materials, interact with a wide audience on the matters of sustainable forest management, improved forest governance and a number of other related topics through questions and answers and brief presentations.
It is already a tradition to hold the Europe Day annual Information Fair in Armenia. The ENPI FLEG II Armenia Program, like all the previous times was presented under “ENVIRONMENT” booth by three organizations – The World Bank, WWF and IUCN. The Team was available for the audience to address any concern, question and inquiry regarding the Program.
As always, FLEG Armenia team prepared a small quiz for the attending audience. The quiz contained interesting facts about forests, which triggered the interest of by-passers, and served as an additional tool to attract more people and provide more information about the Program. People engaged with great pleasure, not only because the Program promotion materials were offered as a prize, but also since many of them were interested to check their knowledge in the field of forestry.
Information fairs are considered to be one of the most efficient outreach tools in terms of disseminating information and receiving feedback, and FLEG uses the Europe Day annual Information Fair as a valuable opportunity to promote its ideas and the FLEG brand.
