As it was the last destination and the final stage of the day, the Deputy Minister of Forestry Fedor Lisitsa initiated a tradition in agreement with all the parties, that from now on will be repeated everywhere when the Steering Committee of the FLEG meets - planting a pine. Everyone had a hand in the planting. It was a truly wonderful conclusion to the program.
The remaining members of the partner organizations stayed in Minsk for one more day to undergo face-to-face training on the methods of procurement for the country coordinators (WWF, IUCN).
